The Beginning of Expansion Plans

Last June 16 marked the beginning of the much-anticipated expansion plan that was announced earlier this year. Many people from the Cottage Grove City Council celebrated with us—council members, Minnesota state and Cottage Grove representatives, RSP architects, community partners, and of course, our very own employees. We actually shut down the factory last June 16 to give credit where it’s due—to our hardworking Renewal by Andersen teams.

We are set to finish our 125,000-square-foot expansion by March 2016. This development supports the growth of the company’s replacement window business. We will be adding manufacturing and office spaces, plus 200 new jobs. Not only are we helping our community through job opportunities, but we are also making homes better one replacement window at a time. According to Renewal by Andersen’s board of directors, they take pride in the number of homes that they’ve improved and serviced.

Aside from our expansion plans, we are also celebrating the twentieth anniversary of the day we opened our first retail location. Truly, there are many things to be thankful about, one of which is our very own our facility here in Cottage Grove. There has been a series of strong customer demands, which means more and more people are happy with our products and services. As one of the executives put it, once you’ve taken care of the customer, the word about good services will spread like wildfire.
